Air India, founded in 1932, is the flag carrier of India. Its headquarters are located in Delhi, India. Its primary hub is Indira Gandhi International Airport, while its secondary hub is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Its humongous fleet consists of 136 aircraft. Travelers can book Air India flight tickets for any of the 94 destinations it serves. Its focus cities include Trivandrum International Airport, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kempegowda International Airport, Cochin International Airport and Chennai International Airport. Air India provides a frequent flyer program for its passengers called Flying Returns.

Baggage Policy

Passengers flying aboard Air India flights are allowed to take one piece of carry-on baggage along with one personal item. The dimensions of the carry-on bag cannot exceed 22 x 14 x 10 inches. Its weight cannot be more than 18 lb. Checked baggage for flights to/from the U.S.A.- All passengers are allowed to take two pieces of checked baggage. The maximum weight limit for First Class and Business Class is 70 lb., while for Economy Class, it is 51 lb. The linear dimension of each of the bags cannot exceed 62 inches.
