Austrian Airlines, founded in 1957, is the flag carrier of Austria. Its headquarters are located in Vienna. With 85 aircraft in its fleet, the airlines serves a total of 130 destinations. Baggage Policy
Business Class passengers aboard Austrian Airlines flights are allowed to carry two pieces of carry-on baggage, while Premium Economy Class and Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry one piece of carry-on baggage. In addition to this, all passengers are allowed to carry one personal item. The weight of the carry-on baggage cannot be more than 18 lb. The dimensions of each of the bags cannot exceed 22 x 16 x 9. The dimensions of the personal item cannot exceed 16 x 12 x 4 inches.
Checked baggage on intercontinental routes- Business Class and Premium Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry two pieces of baggage, while Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry one piece of baggage. Economy Light Class passengers are not entitled to carry any checked baggage. The maximum weight limit for Business Class is 70 lb. The maximum weight limit for Premium Economy Class and Economy Class is 51 lb.
