What started on 30th January 1929 with just two 8 seater Sikorsky and a Bellanca monoplane is today the largest and longest serving airline of Hawaii. Hawaiian Airlines is based in Honolulu, Hawaii and has its primary hub at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in O'ahu. It also operates from a secondary hub located at Kahului Airport in Maui. They offer non-stop flights to Hawaii and every Hawaiian island coming from locations in North America, Asia and South Pacific. However Hawaiian Airlines does have a codeshare partnership with a number of airlines to provide their passengers options to fly beyond their network and to provide their customers a seamless flying experience even on connecting flights. Baggage Policy
Passengers are allowed to carry with them one personal item and one carry-on bag. Laptops, briefcase, purse or backpacks that can fit under the seat in front of you are accepted as personal items. As for checked baggage, bags weighing less than 50 lbs (23 kg) and/or bags with length, breadth and height combined together up to 62 inches (157 cm) will be accepted without an extra fee. Bags that exceed these limitations will incur an extra cost.
