Baggage Policy
Upper Class passengers flying aboard Virgin Atlantic flights are allowed to carry two pieces of carry-on baggage, while Premium Economy Class and Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry only one piece of carry-on baggage. The maximum (combined) weight limit for Upper Class is 35 lb. The maximum weight limit for Premium Economy Class and Economy Class is 22 lb. Irrespective of travel class, the dimensions of the carry-on baggage cannot exceed 9 x 14 x 22 inches. When it comes to checked baggage, Upper Class passengers are allowed to carry three pieces of baggage, Premium Economy Class passengers are allowed to carry two pieces of baggage; and Economy Classic Fare and Economy Delight Fare passengers are allowed to carry one piece of baggage. The maximum weight limit for Upper Class is 70 lb. The maximum weight limit for Premium Economy Class, Economy Classic Fare and Economy Delight Fare is 50 lb. Irrespective of the travel class, the dimensions of the checked baggage cannot be more than 36 x 30 x 16 inches.
