Volaris, founded in 2004, is a low-cost airline based in Mexico. Its hubs are Tijuana International Airport, Mexico City International Airport and Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Guadalajara International Airport, while its focus cities include Monterrey International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, Del Bajío International Airport and Cancún International Airport. Travelers can make Volaris reservations for any of the 65 destinations (domestic and international) it serves. Its headquarters are located in Mexico City, Mexico. Volaris’ fleet consists of 76 aircraft. The air carrier provides a frequent flyer program for its loyal customers called VClub. Passengers can become a member of this program and make good use of its numerous benefits. Volaris has codeshare agreements with Frontier Airlines and Condor.
Baggage Policy
Passengers flying aboard Volaris flights are allowed to carry two pieces of carry-on baggage. The combined weight of these carry-ons cannot exceed 22 lb. The dimensions of the carry-ons cannot be more than 22 x 16 x 13 inches. Passengers with Vuela Classic and Vuela Plus Fares are allowed to carry one piece of checked baggage. The maximum weight limit of the checked baggage is 55 lb. A baggage fee would be chargeable on the checked baggage for passengers traveling with Vuela Basic Fare.
