The data spotlights the on-time performance of flights, and the major highlights of the report are given below:

• Southwest Airlines holds the top position with the maximum on-time arrival rate in February 2025 within the United States. With approximately 102,457 on-time flights, these airlines earned a completion factor of about 99.56 percent.
• Spirit Airlines earned second by having the second-highest on-time airline performance in the U.S. However, the number of flights was significantly lower than that of Southwest Airlines, with just over 17,000 punctual departures.
• Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and American Airlines took third, fourth, and fifth spots.
• It might shock you, but Air Canada and WestJet were at the bottom of the list with 59.97 percent and 58.32 percent of on-time arrivals, respectively.
• Globally, Aeromexico was the most on-time airline, with nearly 93 percent punctual flight arrivals and 99.8 percent of on-time departures. This data also indicates that almost 99 percent of flights were completed and not canceled.
• Iberia, Qatar Airways, British Airways, and Lufthansa were among the top 5 on-time airlines in the world, with an average of 85 percent on-time flights.

The report released by the aviation analytics company Cirium showed that more than 13,500 flights were canceled in the United States in February 2025. The company is known for having top-notch data on flight schedules, new routes, and even delayed airlines. They claim to monitor almost three million flights every month to make the report and enhance on-time result rankings.
